As the anonymous quote used to inspire this track puts it: "I have the feeling that something is missing. But I don't know what it is." No matter what brave face we present to the world, every single one of us walks the earth every day with missing pieces inside of us... and all around us. People and places that no longer exist - or have changed beyond recognition. But as much as a great leveller of grief might be, and as many books have been written on the subject, it remains the most difficult emotion to describe.
